Senior Project Manager - Site Assessment and Remediation 

The Toronto office is seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in the design and operation of in situ remediation systems. The position will involve:
- management of complex Phase II environmental site assessments and remediations, including completion of Records of Site Condition;
- completing remedial options assessments, designing, costing and implementing remedial action plans;
- designing, costing and implementing in situ and ex situ remediations for a variety of contaminants;
- providing QA/QC and senior review of technical reports and proposals;
- preparing proposals, developing new business and maintaining existing clients;
- provision of technical expertise, supervision and training of junior personnel;
- administration of projects including invoicing, budget tracking and scheduling;
- participate in research and development initiatives.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of ten years experience in the environmental consulting industry, P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation, a strong technical background, knowledge of environmental regulations and excellent communication skills. Candidates must have experience in the management, operation and maintenance of complex remediation systems including pump-and-treat, three-phase extraction, air sparging, bioventing, chemical oxidation and all types of bioremediation. The successful candidate will have a minimum of six years experience in the environmental consulting industry, P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation, a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. The position requires management of Phase I and II environmental site assessments, designing and implementing remedial action plans, developing new business and maintaining existing clients, and supervision and training of junior personnel.

Risk Assessment Specialist

Terrapex is seeking a senior risk assessment specialist, to work out of the Toronto, Ottawa or Montreal office. The successful candidate should be a professional with a total of 5 to 10 years relevant experience, including at least 2 years in human health and ecological risk assessment in the context of soil and groundwater contamination. Familiarity with both the Ontario and Quebec frameworks for risk assessment for contaminated sites would be an asset.
