Industrial Effluent Sampling

Municipal sewer use by-laws restrict the type, quality and quantity of wastewater discharges permitted into a municipal sanitary / storm sewer system. Commercial and industrial facilities which are connected to such sewer systems are required to meet sewer criteria by the local municipality.

As a matter of due diligence, facilities that generate and discharge process water to sewer systems should assess compliance with the applicable sewer use by-law criteria on a regular basis.

Terrapex is capable of carrying out storm and sewer monitoring, sampling and reporting at a competitive cost.  If the sampling results indicate non-compliance, we can recommend treatment methods to reduce the effluent concentrations.  We can also assist in preparing a Pollution Prevention Plan (P3) where required by the municipality.
