TERRAPEX EXPANDING INTO DURHAM REGION
New modern facility better serves growing demand for environmental consulting and geotechnical services.
OSHAWA, ON, OCTOBER 25, 2022: Engineering and science consulting company Terrapex Environmental Ltd. (Terrapex) is opening a new facility in Oshawa to better serve the rapidly growing Durham Region and Terrapex customers in the eastern Greater Toronto Area. The new facility is conveniently and centrally located at 2-1333 Thornton Road South, just steps from Lakefront Park West and the GM Oshawa assembly plant.
The 7,000-square-foot facility will feature a geotechnical laboratory and host environmental, geotechnical, and hydrogeological managers and field staff.
“This new facility is an exciting step for us,” said Jennifer O’Grady, President of Terrapex. “The expansion is well timed to help Terrapex service its growing customer base in the GTA, as well as opening up opportunities to service new customers. It is also an opportunity to attract and retain staff who want to live in one of the more affordable areas of the GTA.”
Terrapex veteran of 16 years, Kellen Campbell, Practice Area Manager for geotechnical investigations, will take on the role of the facility’s Branch Manager effective immediately.
