Mike is the founder and former CEO of Terrapex, and has over 40 years of experience in the environmental industry. In October 2021, Mike stepped down as CEO and assumed a role as Senior Consultant. In this role he continues to provide advice to the management team with respect to development and implementation of long-term strategies that will improve our service offering to our clients, provide challenging career paths to our staff, and result in sustainable growth of the business.
He is passionate about our corporate values and continues working to ensure those values of high quality, client-focused service and practical approach are integral to all aspects of the firm.
Throughout his career, Mike has focused on assessment and remediation of contaminated real estate, and he continues to provide technical oversight and input on select projects, conduct peer review, prepare expert opinion reports and provide expert testimony.
Mike holds a BASc and MASc in Civil Engineering (Water Resources) from the University of Waterloo. He is a Qualified Person (QPESA) and Designated Consulting Engineer in Ontario.

Meysam is Vice President of Geotechnical Services at Terrapex. He has provided geotechnical consultation for a wide range of projects such as low-rise and high-rise developments, water/sewer services, tunnels, pavement design, slope stability assessment, slope stabilization design, and geotechnical instrumentation & monitoring. His recent notable projects include leading the geotechnical investigation for Terminal 3 Redevelopment at Pearson International Airport and instrumentation & monitoring of the Finch West LRT.
Meysam has expertise in complex numerical modelling in soils and rocks with applications in slope stability assessment, settlement analysis, stress distribution and seepage analysis. Examples include impact assessment for new developments adjacent to existing transit tunnels in the GTA, air and water seepage analysis through concrete containments for Hydro-Quebec, as well as numerous slope stability assessment projects for developers and municipalities in Ontario.
Meysam holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from McGill University, with a specialization in Geomechanics. While at McGill, he was a course lecturer for the Geotechnical Mechanics course. He has published several research papers in archival scientific journals.

Jennifer has been a key player in the growth and development of Terrapex since she joined the company in 1997. She has over 25 years of experience in environmental consulting, focusing on site assessment and remediation.
Over her career at Terrapex, in addition to managing major client accounts and projects, Jennifer has held corporate responsibility for health and safety, people & culture, and quality management, and she believes that excellence in each of these areas is critical to the continued success of the company.
As President, Jennifer oversees all operational aspects of the company. She is responsible to ensure that our corporate values are integral to every project completed by the company, that the expectations of our clients are met or exceeded, and that our staff are engaged and challenged in the execution of their work.
Jennifer holds a BASc in Engineering Chemistry from Queen’s University, an MEng in Chemical Engineering (Environmental Specialty) from the University of Toronto, and is a Qualified Person (QPESA) in Ontario. Jennifer also serves on the Board of Directors of Inogen Alliance, a global corporation providing environmental, health, safety, energy and sustainability consulting services to multinational organizations around the world.

Peter is Vice President of Environmental Services at Terrapex, and brings 25 years of experience in the environmental engineering consulting industry. Peter regularly provides consulting services relating to the assessment and remediation/management of petroleum hydrocarbon, chlorinated solvent, and inorganic contaminants in both overburden and bedrock media, including qualitative and quantitative human health and ecological risk assessments.
Peter has qualified as an expert witness and provided testimony in the areas of contaminant hydrogeology and contaminated site assessment and remediation, and routinely provides peer review / expert opinion services to clients in support of due diligence efforts, civil litigation claims, and subrogation claims.
Peter holds a BSc in Geological Engineering and a BA in Economics from Queen’s University. He is a Qualified Person in both environmental site assessment (QPESA) and risk assessment (QPRA), and a designated Consulting Engineer in Ontario.

Craig joined Terrapex out of university in 2004 and has developed progressively from field technician to the role of Senior Project Manager.
Craig’s primary responsibility is management of projects in Eastern and Northern Ontario. He has extensive experience in soil and groundwater remediation, surface water and sediment sampling projects, designated substances surveys, and sampling programs to support environmental compliance approvals (ECAs) across Ontario. Craig has managed projects for a variety of clients including residential, commercial and industrial clients in the private sector, and municipal, provincial, and federal government agencies in the public sector.
Craig holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Biological Engineering (Environmental Option) from Dalhousie University and an Environmental Technology Diploma from Cape Breton University. He is a Qualified Person for environmental site assessment (QPESA) in Ontario.

Keith joined Terrapex in 2003, and since that time he has played a key role in the growth and development of Terrapex’s Ottawa office. He has over 19 years of experience in environmental consulting with a primary focus on site assessment and remediation of properties in both Ontario and Quebec. As a Senior Project Manager, Keith serves clients in both English and French to help meet their needs with practical and cost-effective solutions.
Over his career at Terrapex, in addition to managing major client accounts and projects, Keith has held corporate responsibility for quality management and has also served as a supervisor and mentor for junior staff.
Keith holds a BSc in Engineering from the University of Guelph. He is a Qualified Person for environmental site assessment (QPESA) in Ontario.

Jason joined Terrapex in 2005 as an entry level technician, and has progressed through the company to become a Project Manager. Jason has recently been appointed Manager of Ecological Services, where he will draw on a background in biology and love for the natural environment to further develop the Ecology practice area at Terrapex.
Jason’s main responsibilities include full project management for utility corridor clients, providing both site assessment and remediation services and management/consultation for all ecological services. Jason also manages a portfolio of over 50 sites for one of Terrapex’s larger clients.
Jason holds an Environmental Technician diploma from Fleming College which he used to start his career in environmental consulting, focusing on site assessment and remediation. Jason also holds a BSc in Marine and Freshwater Biology from the University of Guelph.

Stephen joined Terrapex in 2019 as Manager of the Risk Assessment Group. He has provided risk assessment and environmental consulting services for over 10 years. Stephen has completed numerous risk assessments for a variety of clients in various sectors since beginning his career. These include risk assessments for regulatory submissions under Ontario Regulation 153/04; due diligence risk assessments for land transactions; and, exposure risk assessments included in environmental assessments for power and mining projects.
Stephen’s primary responsibility is helping clients navigate through Ontario’s Brownfield regulations. His main focus has been on human health and ecological risk assessment for brownfield redevelopment. He has been involved in the redevelopment of former gas stations, manufacturing facilities, marine transfer stations and drycleaners into parkland, residential, and mixed residential/commercial land use.
Stephen holds a BSc Tech in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and an MSc in Land Resource Science (Toxicology) from the University of Guelph, and he is a Qualified Person for risk assessment (QPRA) in Ontario.

David is a Senior Project Manager at Terrapex with more than 25 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. Over the course of his career, David’s focus has been on environmental due diligence, which has led to conducting and managing environmental site assessment projects across Canada, USA and Europe. David has managed the environmental due diligence on large portfolios of industrial, commercial and residential properties for real estate transactions, financing, as well as corporate mergers and acquisitions. His experience includes preparation of expert opinion reports and providing expert testimony, managing large-scale soil and groundwater remediation projects, and assisting property owners and developers with solving complex environmental problems.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Toronto. He is a licensed Professional Geoscientist in Ontario and Alberta, and a Qualified Person for environmental site assessment (QPESA) in Ontario.

Trevor joined Terrapex in 2012 as a Senior Project Manager, and has over 25 years of experience in the environmental industry. He specializes in environmental site assessments, excess soil characterization, site remediation, underground storage tank removals, designated substances surveys, and asbestos management programs.
Between 2014 and 2019, Trevor was the Manager of Career Development and Training at Terrapex. Currently, Trevor is the Manager of the Hazardous Materials Group, overseeing designated substances, asbestos, and other hazardous materials projects.
Trevor holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from Ryerson University, a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Manitoba, and is certified by the Canadian Environmental Certification Approvals Board as an Environmental Professional. In addition, Trevor has successfully completed Certificate programs at Ryerson University in Environmental Engineering Science, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental Management. He holds a Limited Engineering Licence (LEL) from Professional Engineers of Ontario, and is a Qualified Person in environmental site assessment (QPESA) in Ontario.

Zara is a certified health and safety consultant with over eight years of experience in the private and government sectors, including the environmental, mining, and construction industries. She manages Terrapex’s health and safety system, advising on standards and best industry best practices, and assisting clients with occupational health and safety and/or industrial hygiene services.
Zara is a certified lead auditor for ISO 45001, 14001 and COR internal auditor. She has experience writing and reviewing policies, procedures, and risk assessments and in contractor management. In addition, she brings a broad base of experience in implementing and auditing Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and advising on safety standards, regulations, and legislative compliance, as well as making recommendations to improve workers’ health, safety, and wellbeing.
Zara holds a Bachelor’s degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Laurentian University. Zara is an active member of the Ontario Municipal Health and Safety Professional’s Association, Women in Occupational Health and Safety and the International Health And Safety Knowledge Network.

Zen is a Senior Hydrogeologist with over 20 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary projects throughout the United States, South Africa, Bermuda, Namibia, and Canada. His extensive ground-level experience and broad theoretical skill-set are ideal for providing fast and adaptive technical support at any level.
Zen is a Past President of Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO; previously APGO) and continues to contribute to the PGO as the Communications Committee Chair. In recognition of his reputation for leadership and professionalism, Zen is an invited advisor to technical committees with several municipalities, a Fellow of Geoscience Canada, and a sessional instructor at Trent University, providing instruction in Geophysics (3rd year) and Structural Geology (3rd year).
As a Senior Hydrogeologist at Terrapex, Zen’s areas of focus include the management of dewatering hydrogeology investigations, groundwater under direct influence (GUDI) investigations, radiological investigations, and feature-based water balance (FBWB) assessments.
Zen holds a BSc (Hon) in Geology from McMaster University and a MSc in Geology from Western University.

Walter is the Manager of the Materials Testing and Inspection arm of the Geotechnical Division of Terrapex, and brings over 30 years of experience in the geotechnical engineering consulting industry. For over 25 years he has been a key member of the Geotechnical division and has spearheaded the team’s expansion into the vibration, noise and precision survey monitoring fields.
Walter’s experience includes the management of a wide range of geotechnical projects for many industrial, government, petroleum, and rail clients. He has been involved with project design, budgeting, liaising with clients and regulatory agencies, implementation, data interpretation, reporting and management of geotechnical investigations.
Material testing and inspection experience includes the organization and management of field supervision services including inspection of tunnelling, piling operations, pile load testing (static, dynamic, and Statnamic™), caisson inspection, shoring inspection and testing, construction materials testing and inspection, inspection of foundation soils, and inspection and monitoring of excavation faces (soils and rock), engineered fill construction, construction of low permeability liners including HDPE and sand-bentonite liners.
Walter holds a BASc in Geological Engineering from the University of Toronto. He is a member of the Canadian Geotechnical Society.

Geoff has been working in the environmental consulting industry since the early 1990s and has been with Terrapex since 1996.
He is a Senior Project Manager in the Site Assessment and Remediation Group. Over his career, Geoff has gained invaluable experience in conducting and managing small- and large-scale site assessment and remediation projects for both private and public sector clients. Geoff works closely with clients and uses his knowledge and experience to provide practical and cost-effective solutions to meet their environmental consulting needs.
Geoff holds a diploma in Environmental Technology (Terrain and Water Resources) from Fleming College.

John has more than 20 years of experience in the accounting industry with the majority of that in the consulting engineering services segment. In his role as Financial Controller at Terrapex, John is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, and for financial compliance and reporting.
John also works closely with the operations team to find opportunities for improved efficiency of service delivery to our clients, and he is a valuable advisor to the executive team with respect to strategic planning.
His commitment towards strong team collaboration and his prior public accounting experience are key values to the Terrapex Team. John believes in fostering strong business relationships with his colleagues, and equally so with our clients and vendors, and he enjoys the journeys to which these often lead.
John is a dedicated Edmonton Oilers fan and enjoys talking sports in general, and he is not averse to a friendly wager every now and then.

Demetra is the Manager of the Terrapex Soils and Concrete laboratories, as well as a Project Manager for geotechnical investigation and material testing and inspection projects. She has more than 20 years of experience effecting field and laboratory testing programs.
She is responsible for the organization of field test programs, liaison with clients, field technicians and design engineers to meet geotechnical requirements for proposed projects.
She also is responsible for the organization, management and certification of the Soils and Concrete laboratories and the personnel carrying out laboratory tests, including quality assurance measures.
Demetra has managed the field programs and prepared the reports for geotechnical investigations of sewage treatment plant sites, regional infrastructure projects, residential and commercial subdivisions, and high-rise residential developments. She has also managed the material testing and inspection services during the construction phase of these projects.
Demetra holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Manitoba. She is a member of the Canadian Geotechnical Society.

Chris joined Terrapex in 2020 to help promote the growth and development of the firm’s Ecological Services practice area. He has more than 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors related to wildlife biology and species at risk. During his career, he has managed, undertaken or contributed to more than 100 projects, including subwatershed studies, Class Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Studies, with a specific emphasis on wildlife species at risk, particularly herpetofauna (reptiles and amphibians). He has appeared successfully as an expert witness before the Ontario Municipal Board and the Environmental Review Tribunal.
Since joining Terrapex, Chris has undertaken a variety of business development, marketing and staff training initiatives. As a Senior Biologist and Project Manager, his responsibilities also include project management, the completion of life science inventories and all aspects of environmental impact assessment, including the design of technical study protocols, the collection and analysis of data and report preparation. He has a particular interest in the development and implementation of mitigation measures to reduce the impacts of development on wildlife.
Chris completed a B.Sc. in Zoology at the University of Guelph in 1994 and an M.Sc. in Biology at Carleton University in 1998. He is a MNRF-certified Health Assessor for Butternut (a species at risk tree) and has served since 2008 as a part-time instructor in Niagara College’s Ecosystem Restoration Graduate Certificate Program.

Rod has been with Terrapex since 2005 when he joined as an environmental Project Manager. He has been the Branch Manager for the Ottawa office since 2011. In all, Rod has more than 20 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry focusing on site assessment and remediation, designated substances, and health and safety.
In addition to being responsible for the overall operation of the Ottawa office, Rod has managed several Standing Offer Agreements (SOAs), acting as primary contact with selected key clients and providing overall project management for projects arising from the SOAs.
Rod has also made significant contributions to Terrapex’s corporate health and safety program, having served as Corporate Health and Safety Manager for 10 years.

Steve is the Toronto Branch Manager and Manager of Hydrogeology. He has worked in the environmental consulting field since 1988, including seven years with the Ontario Ministry of the Environment (now MECP). Steve joined Terrapex in 2013, and is actively managing and conducting environmental site assessments, risk assessments and hydrogeological studies.
Steve has prepared hydrogeological assessments of contaminated sites and mine sites, and has conducted and managed hydrogeological assessments for construction and remediation projects, obtaining permits to take water and EASR registrations from the MECP. Steve is a waste management specialist, having prepared designs, construction supervision and hydrogeological assessments at landfills in the Caribbean, Central and South America, India and the Middle East, as well as Ontario.
Steve obtained Geological Engineering and Geography degrees from the University of Waterloo. In addition to being a licensed Professional Engineer and Professional Geoscientist, he is a Qualified Person in environmental site assessment (QPESA) and risk assessment (QPRA) in Ontario.

Jeff is an avid motorcyclist, musician, and archer. In his spare time, Jeff leads the Terrapex Hamilton Office as Branch Manager, and operates as a Senior Project Manager for site assessment and remediation projects. He has been the primary account contact for a large petroleum client for over 16 years.
Jeff came to Terrapex in 2000 with 10 years of prior experience progressing from field technician to Senior Project Manager. As such he has ample applied experience in site assessment and remediation which he employs to great effect in providing practical solutions to the environmental issues of his clients. Jeff has provided testimony as expert witness for trial, attended mediation, and has acted in an advisory role to provide technical advice to public and private policy makers.
Jeff graduated in 1990 with a BSc in Biology and Urban and Environmental Studies from Brock University. Jeff is a Qualified Person for environmental site assessment (QPESA) and has filed more than 100 Records of Site Condition over the years.

Brian is a Professional Geoscientist with more than 25 years of hydrogeology and project management experience, including three years at Terrapex.
His portfolio of project experience covers an unusually wide range, including land development, subwatershed assessment, transportation corridors, landfills, environmental site assessments for diverse contaminants, groundwater supply, rock and aggregate extraction, as well as groundwater and surface water monitoring programs. His land development services include conventional municipal submissions that provide dewatering analysis for deep foundations and linear infrastructure, Permits To Take Water, water balance, private wells, and peer review. Brian’s years of field experience result in efficient programs that maximize the delivery of quality data. His technical reports are dedicated to providing clarity and accuracy.
Brian holds a BSc in Solid Earth Geophysics from McGill University and an MSc in Earth Sciences from the University of Waterloo.

The multiple roles he has held over the years have given him a unique perspective and insight that helps Terrapex live up to the vision of setting the standard to which our competition aspires.

Jeremy joined Terrapex in 2000 after completing his university education. He began his career as a field technician conducting site assessments and remediation, and now holds the role of Senior Project Manager. Jeremy is also a client account lead for one of Terrapex’s biggest clients.
During his tenure at Terrapex, Jeremy has been the Manager of Subcontractor Relations, a long-time member of the Health and Safety Committee and the Quality Management team, and the Manager of Business Development. Jeremy is an expert in petroleum contamination and related issues, and is known for his problem-solving abilities and positive attitude.

Peter regularly provides consulting services relating to the assessment and remediation/management of petroleum hydrocarbon, chlorinated solvent, and inorganic contaminants in both overburden and bedrock media, including qualitative and quantitative human health and ecological risk assessments.
Peter has qualified as an expert witness and provided testimony in the areas of contaminant hydrogeology and contaminated site assessment and remediation, and routinely provides peer review / expert opinion services to clients in support of due diligence efforts, civil litigation claims, and subrogation claims.

Meysam is Vice President of Geotechnical Services at Terrapex. He has provided geotechnical consultation for a wide range of projects such as low-rise and high-rise developments, water/sewer services, tunnels, pavement design, slope stability assessment, slope stabilization design, and geotechnical instrumentation & monitoring. His recent notable projects include leading the geotechnical investigation for Terminal 3 Redevelopment at Pearson International Airport and instrumentation & monitoring of the Finch West LRT.
Meysam has expertise in complex numerical modelling in soils and rocks with applications in slope stability assessment, settlement analysis, stress distribution and seepage analysis. Examples include impact assessment for new developments adjacent to existing transit tunnels in the GTA, air and water seepage analysis through concrete containments for Hydro-Quebec, as well as numerous slope stability assessment projects for developers and municipalities in Ontario.
Meysam holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from McGill University, with a specialization in Geomechanics. While at McGill, he was a course lecturer for the Geotechnical Mechanics course. He has published several research papers in archival scientific journals.

Craig joined Terrapex out of university in 2004 and has developed progressively from field technician to the role of Senior Project Manager.
Craig’s primary responsibility is management of projects in Eastern and Northern Ontario. He has extensive experience in soil and groundwater remediation, surface water and sediment sampling projects, designated substances surveys, and sampling programs to support environmental compliance approvals (ECAs) across Ontario. Craig has managed projects for a variety of clients including residential, commercial and industrial clients in the private sector, and municipal, provincial, and federal government agencies in the public sector.

Jason joined Terrapex in 2005 as an entry level technician, and has progressed through the company to become a Project Manager. Jason is currently the Manager of Ecological Services where he draws on a background in biology and love for the natural environment to further develop the Ecology practice area at Terrapex.

Stephen joined Terrapex in 2019 as Manager of the Risk Assessment Group. He has provided risk assessment and environmental consulting services for over 10 years. Stephen has completed numerous risk assessments for a variety of clients in various sectors since beginning his career. These include risk assessments for regulatory submissions under Ontario Regulation 153/04; due diligence risk assessments for land transactions; and, exposure risk assessments included in environmental assessments for power and mining projects.
Stephen’s primary responsibility is helping clients navigate through Ontario’s Brownfield regulations. His main focus has been on human health and ecological risk assessment for brownfield redevelopment. He has been involved in the redevelopment of former gas stations, manufacturing facilities, marine transfer stations and drycleaners into parkland, residential, and mixed residential/commercial land use.

Trevor joined Terrapex in 2012 as a Senior Project Manager, and has over 25 years of experience in the environmental industry. He specializes in environmental site assessments, excess soil characterization, site remediation, underground storage tank removals, designated substances surveys, and asbestos management programs.
Between 2014 and 2019, Trevor was the Manager of Career Development and Training at Terrapex. Currently, Trevor is the Manager of the Hazardous Materials Group, overseeing designated substances, asbestos, and other hazardous materials projects.

Zara is a certified health and safety consultant with over eight years of experience in the private and government sectors, including the environmental, mining, and construction industries. She manages Terrapex’s health and safety system, advising on standards and best industry best practices, and assisting clients with occupational health and safety and/or industrial hygiene services.
Zara is a certified lead auditor for ISO 45001, 14001 and COR internal auditor. She has experience writing and reviewing policies, procedures, and risk assessments and in contractor management. In addition, she brings a broad base of experience in implementing and auditing Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and advising on safety standards, regulations, and legislative compliance, as well as making recommendations to improve workers’ health, safety, and wellbeing.

Zen is a Senior Hydrogeologist with over 20 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary projects throughout the United States, South Africa, Bermuda, Namibia, and Canada. His extensive ground-level experience and broad theoretical skill-set are ideal for providing fast and adaptive technical support at any level.
Zen is a Past President of Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO; previously APGO) and continues to contribute to the PGO as the Communications Committee Chair. In recognition of his reputation for leadership and professionalism, Zen is an invited advisor to technical committees with several municipalities, a Fellow of Geoscience Canada, and a sessional instructor at Trent University, providing instruction in Geophysics (3rd year) and Structural Geology (3rd year).

Walter is the Manager of the Materials Testing and Inspection arm of the Geotechnical Division of Terrapex, and brings over 30 years of experience in the geotechnical engineering consulting industry. For over 25 years he has been a key member of the Geotechnical division and has spearheaded the team’s expansion into the vibration, noise and precision survey monitoring fields.
Walter’s experience includes the management of a wide range of geotechnical projects for many industrial, government, petroleum, and rail clients. He has been involved with project design, budgeting, liaising with clients and regulatory agencies, implementation, data interpretation, reporting and management of geotechnical investigations.

Demetra is the Manager of the Terrapex Soils and Concrete laboratories, as well as a Project Manager for geotechnical investigation and material testing and inspection projects. She has more than 20 years of experience effecting field and laboratory testing programs.
She is responsible for the organization of field test programs, liaison with clients, field technicians and design engineers to meet geotechnical requirements for proposed projects.
She also is responsible for the organization, management and certification of the Soils and Concrete laboratories and the personnel carrying out laboratory tests, including quality assurance measures.
Demetra has managed the field programs and prepared the reports for geotechnical investigations of sewage treatment plant sites, regional infrastructure projects, residential and commercial subdivisions, and high-rise residential developments. She has also managed the material testing and inspection services during the construction phase of these projects.

Chris joined Terrapex in 2020 to help promote the growth and development of the firm’s Ecological Services practice area. He has more than 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors related to wildlife biology and species at risk. During his career, he has managed, undertaken or contributed to more than 100 projects, including subwatershed studies, Class Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Studies, with a specific emphasis on wildlife species at risk, particularly herpetofauna (reptiles and amphibians). He has appeared successfully as an expert witness before the Ontario Municipal Board and the Environmental Review Tribunal.
Since joining Terrapex, Chris has undertaken a variety of business development, marketing and staff training initiatives. As a Senior Biologist and Project Manager, his responsibilities also include project management, the completion of life science inventories and all aspects of environmental impact assessment, including the design of technical study protocols, the collection and analysis of data and report preparation. He has a particular interest in the development and implementation of mitigation measures to reduce the impacts of development on wildlife.
Chris completed a B.Sc. in Zoology at the University of Guelph in 1994 and an M.Sc. in Biology at Carleton University in 1998. He is a MNRF-certified Health Assessor for Butternut (a species at risk tree) and has served since 2008 as a part-time instructor in Niagara College’s Ecosystem Restoration Graduate Certificate Program.

Steve is the Manager of Terrapex’s Hydrogeology service line and he also manages the Toronto Branch office. He has worked in the environmental consulting field since 1988, including seven years with the Ontario Ministry of the Environment (now MECP). Steve joined Terrapex in 2013, and is actively managing and conducting environmental site assessments, risk assessments and hydrogeological studies.
Steve has prepared hydrogeological assessments of contaminated sites and mine sites, and has conducted and managed hydrogeological assessments for construction and remediation projects, obtaining permits to take water and EASR registrations from the MECP. Steve is a waste management specialist, having prepared designs, construction supervision and hydrogeological assessments at landfills in the Caribbean, Central and South America, India and the Middle East, as well as Ontario.

Jeff is an avid motorcyclist, musician, and archer. In his spare time, Jeff leads the Terrapex Hamilton Office as Branch Manager, and operates as a Senior Project Manager for site assessment and remediation projects. He has been the primary account contact for a large petroleum client for over 16 years.
Jeff came to Terrapex in 2000 with 10 years of prior experience progressing from field technician to Senior Project Manager. As such he has ample applied experience in site assessment and remediation which he employs to great effect in providing practical solutions to the environmental issues of his clients. Jeff has provided testimony as expert witness for trial, attended mediation, and has acted in an advisory role to provide technical advice to public and private policy makers.

During his tenure at Terrapex, Jeremy has been the Manager of Subcontractor Relations, a long-time member of the Health and Safety Committee and the Quality Management team, and the Manager of Business Development. Jeremy is an expert in petroleum contamination and related issues, and is known for his problem-solving abilities and positive attitude.
